Connect your Shopify store to Brandstack to automatically import orders, line items, customers, products, refunds, and discounts into your workspace. Once connected, Brandstack keeps your e-commerce data up to date with regular syncs and provides an initial backfill so you can start analyzing historical performance right away.

What data syncs

Brandstack imports the following data from your Shopify store:
  • Orders — order details, status, timestamps, and fulfillment information
  • Line items — individual products within each order, quantities, and prices
  • Customers — customer profiles, contact information, and order history
  • Products — product catalog, variants, SKUs, and inventory levels
  • Refunds — refund transactions linked to original orders
  • Discounts — discount codes, automatic discounts, and applied savings

Setup

1

Open Integrations

In your Brandstack workspace, go to Integrations in the left sidebar, then click Add Source.
2

Select Shopify

Choose Shopify from the list of e-commerce integrations.[Screenshot: Shopify connect screen]
3

Enter your store subdomain

Type your Shopify store subdomain (the part before .myshopify.com). For example, if your store URL is your-store.myshopify.com, enter your-store.
4

Authorize scopes

Click Connect to open the Shopify OAuth flow. Review the requested permissions and click Install app to grant Brandstack read access to your store data.
5

Wait for the initial backfill

Brandstack begins importing your historical data automatically. For a typical store with one year of history, the initial backfill usually completes within 15 to 30 minutes.
Once the backfill finishes, your Shopify data appears in the Brandstack dashboards and reports. New data syncs automatically going forward.

Troubleshooting

This error appears when the store subdomain is entered incorrectly. Double-check that you typed only the subdomain, not the full URL. For example, use your-store instead of your-store.myshopify.com or https://your-store.myshopify.com.
If the backfill progress bar has not moved for over an hour, try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration from Integrations > Shopify > Reconnect. Large catalogs or high order volumes can extend the backfill time beyond the typical 15 to 30 minutes.
Missing orders usually mean the custom app or OAuth scopes do not include read access to orders. Revisit the Shopify OAuth flow and confirm that the order reading permission is granted. If you use a private custom app, verify that its permissions cover orders, customers, and products.
